This is the official trailer of Hellgate: London that was first shown on the E3 2006 and later remained the game’s introduction sequence. Hellgate: London is a role playing game developed by former members of Blizzard Entertainment and comparable to Diablo in many aspects. Unlike its precursor it is played either from a first person or third person perspective, mixing the CRPG gameplay with shooter and slasher elements. Also it is based in a modern setting, mixing fantasy elements with science fiction. Despite being hyped quite a lot the game did not turn out to be as successful as it had been hoped for. About one year after its release the European and North American multiplayer servers were shut down. The game’s Korean publisher HanBitSoft currently hold’s the rights for the franchise and is trying to resurrect the game with a sequel titled Hellgate: London: Resurrection.
