An estimated 500,000 people as well as 1000 Police officers lined the streets of Memphis as his hearse drove by. Such a grand and public funeral was a truly fitting final tribute to the King. This video is some of the most amazing footage from that day- in one scene a grief-stricken woman runs in front of the hearse and has to be pulled out of the way by a policeman.
