This is a complete episode of “Leo the Lion,“ the English title for Osamu Tezuka’s 1966 Japanese animated series, “Jungle Taitei Susume Leo“ (Jungle Emperor Forward Leo), which was the follow-up series to “Jungle Taitei,“ which had been shown in the U.S. in 1966 in an English-dubbed version as “Kimba the White Lion.“ The sequel, which follows Kimba as an adult (Leo), was not shown in the U.S. until 1984 when the Christian Broadcasting Network ran it in a newly dubbed version.
