LIVE: Coronavirus sceptics hold silent march in Berlin, counter-protests expected

COVID-19 sceptics hold a silent march in Berlin on Saturday, February 20, to protest against the pandemic-related lockdown. According to the organisers the march will be held under the slogan of ’We must talk,’ in a bid to encourage people to speak up against the restrictions. Counter-protests have also been scheduled to take place. Germany entered a second COVID-19 lockdown in November, with non-essential shops, gyms and other facilities shutting down. In an interview with a German broadcaster Chancellor Angela Merkel said reopening will begin once the country reaches a rate of 35 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. #Berlin #COVID19 #coronavirus #Germany
