I finally covered the ENTIRE Katawa Shoujo Soundtrack (KATAWA SHOUJO: THE COMPLETE PIANO COLLECTION)

Today is a special day because it marks the 10 year anniversary of my very first Katawa Shoujo cover upload (August 29th 2012). Many things come and go within a decade’s time, but working on Katawa Shoujo piano arrangements have remained a constant for me. It started in 2012 when I was first introduced to the visual novel and was immediately attracted to the soundtrack. As I continued to make KS piano covers, the process became increasingly enjoyable and at some point I told myself that I would one day cover every track from the OST. Now, 47 KS piano covers later, I’m happy to say that I’ve achieved this goal. On top of that, I’ve also written piano sheets accurate to the way I’ve performed every cover (except J.S. Bach’s Sarabande from BWV1010), and compiled all my KS work into 5 individual albums that are available on all major streaming platforms. Covering/arranging, writing sheet music, designing album art, and compiling/distributing my piano solo albums of the entire KS soundtrack have been a real passion project throughout the years. This 2 hour video is a compilation/medley of every single one of my KS covers in chronological order and is by far the longest video I have on this channel. You’ll find each piece’s corresponding album on the bottom left, and the date of recording at the bottom right corner for nostalgic reasons. It’s like a personal video diary, and watching everything from the beginning feels like a time machine that slowly unfolds my KS cover-ing journey throughout the years. So, to all my KS fans and those who have continuously shown so much support for my KS covers, this giant KS piano medley is for you. I’m very happy with how everything turned out, and I’m so glad that all of my KS covers are now out there on the internet for people to listen to and enjoy.
