’you should have believed. you chose the wrong side.’ - new favorite female character unlocked! i saw dune: part two in imax recently and it was an unforgettable experience so i couldn’t wait to get my hands on the digital version and feed my obsession by editing. i am in love with everything about the two films denis villeneuve has made - first of all, the story, which frank herbert is the original author of, then the cinematography, the acting, the score, the visual effects; to me it’s pure cinema. all of the performances in the second part were amazing, javier bardem and austin butler in particular, but it was rebecca ferguson (who btw i’ve adored since the white queen) who blew me away the most. just everything about her was so mesmerizing, i couldn’t get my eyes off her every time she was on the screen. i also hear she’s getting oscar buzz for her role and i honestly hope she’ll get recognized because she really deserves it, she’s just enchanti
