In Israel, we nurture a caring society, offer opportunities to disadvantaged population groups and minorities, and promote diverse expressions of Jewish culture. The Jewish Agency focuses on areas where we bring added value and expertise to meet challenges that, because of their scope and the need for a collective response, can be addressed only by Klal Yisrael – by the Jewish world acting together. It is collective funding that ensures the scope, flexibility, and institutional strength to meet our collective Jewish challenges on a global scale and respond to crises.
