🍁Autumn Leaves: liberating restrictions. Start soloing with the basics.

🎵Autumn Leaves is one of the first standards most people learn. Most people often start soloing over the changes with modes or 4 note arpeggios. Whilst they are valid ways to approach this, I’d actually prefer to start with the real basics and concentrate on hearing what you are about to play. This restrictive approach, is more musical in the long run and gives you a great foundation for other musical ideas and concepts.
