This is the very last version of Erwin Buck´s VW Scirocco Mk1, debuted on 2019 and biggest dominator this year of the 1600cc Class on the German Series. It is now tuned by Spiess Motorenbau and is using a totally new engine, specially built for HillClimb Racing named SPG01, developing 250Hp/ with its rev limit at over . It is based on a VW block and Head, but many of its parts have been extensively modified to the point where it is barely recognizable from its starting point. This Front Wheel Drive Monster aso benefits from its very low weight of around 730Kg alongside Mr. Buck´s talent and experience behind the steering wheel to be a tremendously fast machine, tbeating much more powerful machinery on it way. Here at Wolsfeld Hillclimb, where the footage is captured, it placed 4th Overall among Touring Cars leaving behind a whole host of 500 Hp AWD Monsters and many of the great 2000cc Class MAchines that make the Berg-Cup the highly competitive series that it is.
