MORRIS ALBERT (born Maurício Alberto Kaisermann, 7 September 1951, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, famous for his 1975 hit single “Feelings“. Career In 1973 Produces alone, a single, Feel the Sunshine that, in three weeks time, becomes a success. Signs his first contract with Copacabana Records, in Brazil, as an artist, composer and producer. 1974 Records his first album, and with Feelings becomes number one in Brazil remaining in the charts for six months, consecutively. Feelings, goes number one in South America, Mexico, Central America, South Africa and Europe. First Gold Record -- Mexico. 1975 Feelings, rises the American, Canadian, Japanese and Australian charts. Leaves Brazil and moves to California. 1976 Receives four Nominations for the Grammy Awards. Make appearances in American, British and European television shows. International guest star, at the Italian Festival of San Remo. Wins the Grand Prize at the International Song Festival of Palma
