Ring of Fire Expedition: Kelly Walsh Dives to Challenger Deep

On January 23, 1960, then US Navy officer Don Walsh made the first crewed dive to the floor of Earth’s deepest ocean trench using the bathyscaphe Trieste. Sixty years later, Don’s son Kelly Walsh joined Victor Vescovo in DSV Limiting Factor to follow in his father’s footsteps and journey to Challenger Deep.
