The Golden Kick - Rough Film Study of the Thai Round Kick

Join and Study the Muay Thai Library documentary project: Preserve The Legacy: While I was away Kevin made this beautiful edit of “round“ kicks from great fighters from the Golden Age and sometimes beyond. It’s a kind of meditation on the “Thai kick.“ Recently, two legends addressed the trajectory of the kick in a very specific and deliberate adjustment to the technique I’ve been using for years. All of a sudden, this kick was everywhere and in practicing it myself I’ve seen astounding difference in the visibility, speed and tail-end-acceleration of the kick. I’m very excited about it.
