The brand new model railroad layout in gauge 1 (1/32 scale trains) by Leuvense Spooreen Vrienden

There are many model railroad layouts, mostly modular model train layouts in gauge 1, which have been built by the Leuvense Spooreen Vrienden (“Friends of 1/32 scale model trains from Leuven in Belgium”). All those model railway layouts have been presented for many years at model rail exhibitions all over Europe. A few weeks ago, Peter Bynens and Jean-Luc Declerck, also known as the “Leuvense Spooreen Vrienden”, have finished their latest 1/32 scale train layout, so that we can enjoy a preview of this new miniature world. The new model railway layout is called “The Church along the Swiss Railway” and features beautiful hand-made landscapes and buildings of Switzerland. The entire model world is inspired by the beautiful railroad lines of the Swiss Federal Railways - including also the legendary locomotives and rail vehicles of Switzerland. The rolling stock is controlled by the ESU ECoS system based on the LocoNet. Furthermore, radio hand controllers are available for controlling the rail traffic.
