The STAIRS Are Almost DONE / Off Grid LOG CABIN Building (S3 Ep19)

After 3 years I finally have the stairs in my log cabin to go from the first to the second floor and I don’t need the ladder anymore. After the fall I took I really could wait to finish the stairs. It took me a lot of work and many tries to fit perfectly the beams on which the stairs are mounted. I also had to lower the landing of the stairs otherwise I would always hit my head against the second floor joist. At first I though to just bend every time to avoid hitting it, but then a friend came by and told me to lower it right aways to not regret in later and he also came to help me do it. The purpose of that middle platform is to reduce the steepness of the stairs. For sure it was one of the more challenging but very rewarding builds in the end. Thank you for watching!
