Snow apocalypse in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk: people walk along the streets chest-deep in snowdrifts

A state of emergency was declared in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk: on the morning of January 24, visibility in the regional center and suburbs was zero, roads and courtyards were covered in snow. In some places the snowdrifts are chest high. At the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport, 33 arrival and departure flights were delayed due to a snowstorm. More than 20 flights have been postponed until January 25.
