The Indian star turtle is quite possibly of the most perfectly embellished turtle and is generally phenomenal as a pet. These turtles are from the “dry-zones“ of India and Sri Lanka. Due to this being their regular natural surroundings, this is the climate that we attempt to duplicate while keeping them. Interestingly, Indian Stars require unexpected consideration in comparison to the more normal Mediterranean turtles. As hatchlings, they have a shell only a couple of cm (a little more than an inch) long.
