Outlining Model Topology - A (long-winded) example

So I ran on for a bit longer than I originally anticipated, but hopefully it can be of some use anyway. Topology can be a tough thing to handle sometimes, but this basic concept applies in most situations - outlining important topological features is key to modelling an accurate shape, and it can help keep your model easy to modify as well as keep the polygon count under control.
