A huge fire broke out during the “first dance“ at an Iraqi wedding on Saturday, killing at least 100 people and injuring dozens more. The bride and groom are feared to be among the dead. The fire started in the Babylon Hotel in Baghdad, where the wedding was taking place. It is believed to have been caused by fireworks that were set off during the first dance. The fire quickly engulfed the hall, which was filled with around 900 guests. Witnesses said that people were screaming and running for their lives. Many people were trapped inside the hall and were unable to escape. Others were injured in the stampede to get out.
