Space Dandy - Viva Namida Music Video - Gigapixel A.I. 4K Upscale

8,247 PNG frames and 2 weeks later I was able to upscale the 480p DVD on the Japanese CD single to full 4K. I chose this because there are a ton of patterns and lines and I wanted to see if it would get confused and remove some. To my surprise it actually handled this very well. Granted, this also took literally 2 weeks to upscale so obviously this is not ready for video production, but the results are nevertheless interesting. Again, I used Gigapixel A.I., not Waifu2x as I’m on a Mac computer and it’s much easier to use. I plan on going in-depth with the results on a future video.
