That’s fishy | Tons of dead fish washed up on Sao Paulo’s Piracicaba River shores

Between 10 and 20 tons of dead fish were discovered on the banks of one of Sao Paulo’s main rivers, the Piracicaba. Brazilian environmental authorities suggest that illegal dumping of industrial waste from a sugar and ethanol plant may be the cause.
