Elon Musk Just Announced Starship’s Next Launch Schedule!

Elon Musk Just Announced Starship’s Next Launch Schedule! Elon Musk says SpaceX’s Starship will soon be ready for IFT-3. Chief Executive Officer Musk claims that the necessary hardware to take off is nearly finished. However, the FAA must first approve SpaceX’s report on Saturday’s mishap. And so, when is Starship’s third flight test? What are the latest updates in Starbase? Stay tuned and let’s find out all the details in today’s episode! Hello everyone! SpaceX had to wait seven months after its first test flight of its Starship rocket and spaceship before the Federal Aviation Administration let the company try again. They did this because the first flight destroyed the launchpad, raised environmental concerns, and finished with the rocket spinning out of control and exploding. The second flight test of Starship, which ended on Saturday, also culminated in an explosion. Industry and former FAA officials say there is a good chance it won’t have to wait seven months before it can test the vehicle again. NASA is counting on this vehicle to return humans to the moon’s surface as part of the Artemis program. According to Elon Musk, founder and CEO of SpaceX, the rocket, which is made up of the Super Heavy booster and the Starship spacecraft that sits on top of it, “should be ready to fly in 3 to 4 weeks.“ Several vehicles are rolling off the production site every day, and “three ships are in final production,“ he wrote. Just as important, the test flight from SpaceX’s base in South Texas on Saturday was a big step up from the first one in April. In the months after that flight, SpaceX put in a water suppression system that was meant to protect the pad by reducing the vibrations caused by the 33 Raptor engines on the rocket. It seemed to work, and Musk wrote after Saturday’s flight, “I checked the Starship launchpad and it is in great shape!“ The water-cooled steel plate doesn’t need to be fixed up for the next flight. Things went much better on the flight as well. In the latest flight test, the spacecraft flew to 93 miles above the Earth, which is much higher than the 24 miles it got in the previous trip. The booster’s 33 engines fired up; the previous time, six of them failed. In contrast to the last time, it made it through the part where the booster and ship separate. So far, it looks like the onboard flight termination system that is supposed to destroy the rocket if it goes off course worked as planned. There was a 40-second delay the last time. And because of these things, “the situation is much more promising,“ said George Nield, who used to run the FAA’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation. And now the question is: “Did we learn if something needs to be fixed, changed, replaced, or tweaked?“ “Does any of that have anything to do with keeping people safe?“ However, he said that the FAA is also overburdened, which can cause a delay, given the expectations placed on the organization by the expanding commercial space industry that existed only a few years ago. Furthermore, there’s always a chance that the investigation will turn up more serious issues, in which case SpaceX and the FAA might have to take longer. #elonmusk #spacex #starship #starshipupdate #spacexlaunch _ Join this channel to get access to perks: _ Hope you guys enjoy this! 👉 If you enjoy this video, please like it and share it. 👉 Don’t forget to subscribe to this channel for more updates.
