Gene Technology | Genetics | Biology | FuseSchool
Gene technology includes a range of activities that take advantage of genetic variation, modifying genes and transferring genes to new hosts. It includes genetic engineering, which we looked at in this video ( ) and genetic testing.
Gene technology is the term given to a range of activities concerned with understanding
- how genes are expressed,
- taking advantage of natural genetic variation,
- modifying genes, and
- transferring genes to new hosts.
There are many forms of gene technology. This video will take a closer look at genetic engineering, vaccines, gene therapy, and gene testing.
