Terrible flood | France underwater! | The earth is cracking

Eleven French departments were put on an orange flood alert on Friday after heavy rain caused devastation in parts of Europe. But forecasters say warmer weather is just around the corner. Météo France has issued a weather alert for northern and eastern France, where orange means “be very vigilant”. Departments affected: North, Ain, Ardennes, Marne, Meuse, Haute Rhine, Bas Rhine, Haute Saone, Doubs, Ain and Saone and Loire. Alsace and the northern Alps are forecast to experience the most rain on Friday, but flooding has been listed as a risk across the region as a result of several days of heavy rainfall in areas that are already saturated with water. Floods in Belgium and Germany on Thursday killed more than 90 people and went missing hundreds more. In France, torrential rain and flooding caused flooding in many cities and disrupted train operations.
