Today I’m at a bakery called Chez Sagara, which is located at the foot of the Mino Mountains, in Tanushimarumachi, Kurume-City, Fukuoka. The bakery is open from 10AM to 4PM and it attracts people from all over Japan, who come all this way, to this remote location, standing in line, not matter the rain. And the man who makes all of this possible is the owner chef, Kazuhiro Sagara. Kazuhiro’s techniques are world-class, as he has entered the world-renowned pastry competition, Coupe Du Monde, and has received three silver medals in the Japan rounds.
