Macrame Skirt / Beach Macrame Skirt/ Holiday Macrame Skirt / Summer Macrame Skirt/ DIY When I started making this skirt, I wasn’t really happy with the result when I was about halfway through the design. I was just about to untie the knots and start over when my sister Joanna came to visit and said, ’Oh dear lord! I love it! I did finish it and was really happy with the end result!“ Whether you’re an experienced macrame enthusiast or a curious beginner, this tutorial is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. MATERIALS: T-Shirt Yarn (but you can also use braided cord 3mm - a bit more work or 5mm - a bit less work) 1x 300cm / inches 68*x 270cm / 106.3 inches I’m making the skirt for a mannequin size 8-10 (UK size), but you can also use a pillow. Pin the base cord to it and make it without the mannequin. If you are making a larger size, simply adjust the base if needed and add more cords to suit your needs. If you would like to wear it on your waist rather than your hips, place the base cord accordingly on the mannequin or measure your desired position and put it on the pillow and follow the tutorial in the same way.
