Apple Caramel Chocolate Bark🤩 This is such a quick and easy dessert idea. The flavor combo is perfect for fall🧡

This recipe makes 4 servings:
2.5 oz / 70 g 80% dark chocolate
1 apple, cut into small pieces*
2 tablespoons shredded coconut
homemade caramel sauce (recipe below)
4 tablespoons homemade granola (recipe below)

Caramel sauce:
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablesooon unsweetened peanut butter
1 tablespoon almond milk or milk of choice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Mix the ingredients for the caramel sauce together
2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Spread it on a plate or cutting board lined with parchment paper
3. Sprinkle granola, shredded coconut, and apple pieces on top. Lastly drizzle the caramel on top
4. Let set in the fridge for 30 minutes, cut into pieces and enjoy!

Granola:
2 cups gluten-free oats or buckwheat flakes (480 ml)
1/4 cup melted coconut oil (60 ml)
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cinnamon

1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Spread the mixture on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
3. Bake at 180 Celsius degrees (350 in Fahrenheit) for 20-25 minutes (mixing in between)

*Apples are high-fodmap, so if you are on the elimination phase of the low-FODMAP diet, replace the apples with blueberries☺️
