How to make a macrame wall hanging🌿 I made a macrame leaves wall hanging. In the stem part, cut the cords as long as the length of the stem you want to make. I used about 55cm to make a 10cm stem with 2mm cords. You need about 6 times the cord. You have to fold the cord in half, so it actually needs 12 times the cord. And add about 60cm of extra cord. For example, if you want to make a stem 20cm long, you need a 300cm cord.
