City of Dreams (excerpt) - The Four Fathers and The Wiz-RD

The first verse and chorus of ’City of Dreams’, from our first album, ’Love and War’, recorded at our lead singer Andy Worthington’s 60th birthday party, upstairs at the Brookmill pub in Deptford on March 4, 2023. Andy wrote the song while living in Brixton in the late ‘80s, when he was about the same age as his son Tyler (The Wiz-RD) is now, and it turns out that it is one of Tyler’s very favourite songs. As a result, Andy thought it would be rather poignant to ask Tyler to sing it with him at the party, and he enthusiastically agreed. The result was rather wonderful!
