Learn Brioche Double Decrease

This Knit Pick’s tutorial shows you how to work a brioche double decrease. Brioche double decreases allow you to decrease stitches in the brioche pattern to either add shaping (as for hats) or for visual interest in two color brioche projects. To begin the decrease, we’re going to first slip the knit stitch/yarn over pair knitwise onto the right hand needle. Then we’re going to knit the next purl stitch and knit stitch/yarn over pair together by going through all three loops at once. Finally, take the knit stitch/yarn over pair that we slipped in the first step and pass them over the decreased stitches to leave just one stitc
