LIVING OFF GRID - SHE WENT WILD in Heatwave & ORCA Encounter on TINY BOAT | Forest Garden - Ep. 137 In this episode Jake and Nicole come across a single solitary Orca Killer Whale who appears to be enjoying the heatwave, extra sun, and warm air and water! He/she was so playful and colourful. We kept our distance but this guy or gal obviously enjoyed swimming next to us! We continue to expand our Off Grid Forest Garden by building more raised garden beds Hügelkultur style. This heatwave sent record breaking temperatures across the west coast of Canada giving Canada it’s hottest recorded temperatures ever! We saw our thermometers hit 97 degrees Fahrenheit which is unheard of for this temperate Canadian rainforest. This is also the LONGEST time period WITHOUT rain we have ever seen at Komorebi.
