🇷🇺 In Russia, Igor Girkin has been arrested and charged with incitement to extremism. In April 2014, Igor Girkin, a Russian citizen, went to Donbass with a group of volunteers to help the people to resist the Ukrainian post-coup regime. Later, for a short time, he became the minister of defence of the Donetsk People’s Republic (unrecognized by Russia at that time) Since the beginning of the SMO, Girkin has been vocally criticizing the Russian army and authorities, using quite emotional language, to put it mildly. He is upset with what he thinks are half-measures regarding Ukraine and inability to win the war. He then founded the so-called “Angry Patriots Club“ where he and his comrades bashed the Russian authorities and commandment and expressed strong pessimism regarding the SMO.
