What’s that at the base of the “Bent Pyramid?”

At the base of this corner (which almost appears to have been blown off), @person_1701 pointed out these smooth blocks that could be seen peaking out from ages of ruinous ruble The walls of the lower part of the pyramid rise at an angle of 54 degrees. Then, at about 161 feet above the base, there is an abrupt flattening of the slope to 43 degrees. Prominent theories regarding its strange shape include, that it was either damaged during construction or that the builders made a miss-calculation during construction & therefore changed their plans. OR was this pyramid made precisely this way for a uniquely different purpose? Why are mica crystals found all over the ground at this site only? It is likely that the pyramid was once covered with them
