American Rapper Macklemore - “this is a Genocide”

Speaking at Pro-Palestine Washington D.C. protest this week, American rapper, singer and songwriter, took a strong and risky stance to stand up for humanity when he told the crowds: “we have been taught to just be complicit. To protect our careers, protect our interests. And I’m not going to do that anymore. I’m not afraid to speak the TRUTH.”   He spoke of his 8-year-old daughter who asked him how the people in Palestine will know what we are doing. He said “the whole world is watching what we do right now.” His speech roused the crowds to chant “FREE, FREE PALESTINE.”   It is reminiscent of the movement started in the late 1980s when the WHOLE WORLD WAS WATCHNG and chanting “FREE NELSON MANDELA.”   We did it then.
