Flight of a Butterfly Meditation Music by Sahaja Sangeet | Raag Bhairavi

The flight of a butterfly is symbolic to rebirth and freedom, in a similar way in the triangular Sacrum bone is the power which is going to give us rebirth. When this power known as Kundalini energy passes through the seventh energy center it connects with the Cosmos. Enjoy this beautiful meditation music which helps you easily go into the meditative state. Raag bhairavi is the raga for the Sahasrara Chakra which is the Seventh energy center within us. “God has given you the ears to enjoy the music of his rhythm and that you can only feel when you become a realised soul“ - H.H. This Brisbane event included Shri Mataji’s video with Her guided Self Realisation meditation session plus devotional and world music presented by the multicultural band, Sahaja Sangeet and renowned slide guitarist, Rhitom Sarkar. EVENT WEBSITE: PLAYLIST OF EVENT VIDEOS: ABOUT SHRI MATAJI Shri Mataji introduced Her unique meditation in 1970 and people in more than 120 countries now practise and enjoy it. Her foundational practise teaches a meditation technique which begins with Self Realisation and awakens our inner spiritual aspect. As a result, we experience thoughtless awareness during our meditation which promotes health and well-being. After introducing the technique of Sahaja Yoga meditation, Shri Mataji travelled constantly up until the early 2000s, offering free public lectures and the experience of Self Realisation to all. She enabled people to pass on this valuable experience to others, as well as the technique necessary to sustain it through regular Sahaja Yoga meditation. Shri Mataji was born on 21st March 1923 in India and passed away on 23rd February 2011 in Genoa, Italy, aged 87 years. ABOUT RHITOM SARKAR Born to musician parents, child prodigy Rhitom Sarkar started out playing Indian classical music but soon veered towards playing the guitar due to its musical appeal (akin to vocal) to glide. His innovative mind searched for ways and means to incorporate the finer nuances of Indian music into his guitar practice. Rhitom’s preferred instrument is the Indian slide guitar or ‘gandharvi’ – a modified archtop acoustic with sympathetic and plucked drone strings, specially designed for playing ragas. Ragas are the melodic patterns and modes in traditional Indian music compositions. An ‘A-grade artist’ from AIR (All India Radio) and student of the musician master, Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya, Rhitom has received many international accolades and awards for his music and compositions throughout his career.
