Selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2009, Thomas Pesquet is the first pilot to become an astronaut. A graduate of the Air France pilot training programme, he continues to fly as co-pilot on the Airbus A320. As Thomas says himself, he has the two best jobs in the world.
