Skiing where no one has set foot - Parts Of Us ep3 - A (Possible) First Descent The cool thing about this particular corner of the skiing universe is that there is very little documentation of what people have been doing in the mountains before us social media skiers. When I asked my friend Calum about this steep North face somewhere in Jostedalen, Norway, he replied with the usual disclaimer you often hear around here, that yes, it might be unridden, it probably is, but who knows, someone could have skied it in the 90s with no cell phones or GoPros around, without even telling their friends. So even though we agreed that the line was probably never ridden before us, I’ll still call it a “possible” first descent. Not that it really matters, but how cool isn’t it to think that no one else have skied or boarded into it before you?
