Snatam’s stepfather managed the Grateful Dead, allowing her, in her youth, to attend many of the band’s concerts and develop a passion for folk music. Combined with the love of chant music she is known for, Snatam sings a Sikh kirtan line in the song, inviting the practitioner to walk in the path of love, light, and divinity.
