Crochet Linked Stitches to Eliminate Spaces and Gaps
Ever wonder how to crochet linked stitches with the most popular crochet stitches?
In this video I’ll show how to eliminate spaces and gaps when making double crochet, half double crochet, and treble crochet stitches. There are several easy techniques that will help with the spaces as well as create a nice new stitch design.
It’s important to note there is nothing wrong with the spaces between crochet stitches. These spaces are very useful when crocheting a summer shawl and scarf. However sometimes when making items like a winter beanie in double crochet, linked stitches might be a better option.
I’m using a size G 4 mm crochet hook for my sample and worsted weight 100% acrylic yarn. Feel free to use any other size yarn and hook for samples.
Any questions, feel free to ask. And please enjoy this video! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
