Peru beat United States 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 15-9) Thursday evening to conclude the second round of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Junior World Championship at Eduardo Dibos Gymnasium in Lima. This was the first match that reached five sets in Eduardo Dibos Gymnasium during the event, and was a special win for Peru as today was the Peruvian´s Independence day. United States classified to the gold-medal semifinal because they needed just one set to advance out of Pool E. The Americans ended Pool E
