Dark Humor vs “Dark Humor“

This is an old conversation from... I think early October 2020. Discord servers were plagued with edgy people posting memes that were supposed to be “dark humor“ but were closer to being bullying than anything else. As someone who loves dark humor, and someone who constantly argues against “snowflakes“ for missing the point of dark humor, I got tired of this nonsense. These people were tainting the reputation of real dark humor, and that does nothing but prove snowflakes right. Dark humor is better than this, and the people who indulge on it should be, too. Another reason I was motivated to turn this conversation into a video is the fact that my channel features a great deal of dark humor, and there’s always someone who doesn’t understand it. I hope this video can bring some perspective on how my sense of humor and my friend’s works, avoiding --or at least reducing-- possible misunderstandings in the future.
