When I was planning this video and decided to include a passage from Anne of Green Gables, I immediately knew that my character would have loved to meet L. M. Montgomery, a woman who, like her, defied the expectations of women of her time. When writing the script I only paid attention to the year she was born, 1874, however, upon reviewing it again, I noticed that the date was November 30, the same date that I would publish my video. I like to think that Eloise (my character) did meet Lucy and that this wasn’t just a mere coincidence. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ---------------------------- Eloise Hampton’s dreams and ambitions transcend time. She loves objects and clothes that others consider out of fashion and believes that giving them a new life is the righteous path. But despite her nickname and preferences, she doesn’t want to stay stuck in the past. On the contrary, she is a visionary and her heart advocates for a brighter and better world.
