Unfortunately the audio mixing for is really bad (even worse than Psycho Killer does at the start of the Talking Heads set from this same night), but it gets less intrusive after the first two songs. Still not perfect, but better. The main reason for me posting this video 2 months after the Talking Heads set is that I was hoping to find a better audio source I could sync with this - but it seems that nothing better exists, so I gave up and posted it this way. Some people may find the mixing annoying or unlistenable - personally I just find it funny how bad/abrupt it is. Tom Tom Club started as a side project for Chris Frantz & Tina Weymouth in 1981, and during most of the 1982 Talking Heads world tour TTC did a small set as the opening act. A few TTC audio recordings exist from throughout the tour, but it seems very likely that no other video recordings exist. Genius of Love was also performed by Talking Heads throughout their final tour (1983 and 1984 Stop Making Sense/Speaking in Tongues tour) while David Byrne went off stage to change into his big suit, but I’d just count that as a Talking Heads concert rather than a Tom Tom Club concert, so this is still the only footage.
