Laura Branigan with the group Meadow

Laura Branigan was a member of the band Meadow, which released one album in 1973 called The Friend Ship. The record was not a hit and has never been re-released. Laura preferred not to discuss her involvement with Meadow publicly. She sang lead vocal on three songs. When You Were Young, Lawless Lady, and Artist. She also sang backing vocals on a few other songs from that album. This video is made up of clips of Laura in her yellow and green “Mad Hatter“ jacket. The clips are from her 1990-1991 concert tour and were filmed for a syndicated U.S. television show, SRO in Concert. This is my first true “from the ground up“ edit, so please be kind. I learned a few things and plan to make the next one even better.
