Baby seal climbs onto surfer’s boards off California coast

A baby seal paid a visit to surfers off California - climbing on their boards. The pup hopped from one board to the other - seemingly unafraid of people. The encounter took place near Tourmaline beach in San Diego. Experts from SeaWorld found it was healthy and old enough to fend for itself. One of the surfers commented on an Instagram post by the drone operator Ed Hartel who captured the footage. It read: “The most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me, never getting rid of this board.“ “Endlessly grateful to @dronedudeed for being there with me and catching this incredible moment on his cam.“ This footage is being managed exclusively by Newsflare.
