Revell 1:72 Schnellboot Part 5 Painting and Bow Deck Stripes

With the construction of sub assembles completed I can now paint the model. First she was primed with a Stynylrez mix of off-white to match the Schellboot Weis these motor boats were painted with at the time. My decks became pea green, as per the Mediterranean livery of some craft, but the bow got red and white candy stripes to stop AXIS ships and boats getting shot by friendly fire. I also show how I made and fit the brass pedestals and wood base plus opened up the inboard engine exhaust pots on the lower hull.
