Peter Slaghuis (21 August 1961 – 5 September 1991) was a Dutch DJ, producer and remixer, whose work was mostly released under the name HITHOUSE (’Jack To The Sound Of The Underground’) and as VIDEOKIDS (’Woodpeckers From Space’) known for his successful remixes which charted in the US #1 Dance and UK Top #10 official charts. Sadly, Peter Slaghuis died in a car accident in 1991 as he was driving home from a concert. “DISCO CLUB is an ’80s Non-Stop Mix OFFICIAL LP series, released by indie Break Records (Holland) with Volume 1 in 1983, and ending with Volume 10 in 1986. (x10 releases). These records travelled all around the world. Copies made on home cassette tapes, took on a life of their own, swapped as “DJ mixtapes“ in schools, universities, even clubs)
