Haikou, also known as “Coconut City“, is the capital of Hainan Province, an international comprehensive transportation hub city, a strategic pivot city of the national “One Belt and One Road“ strategy, and a core city of Hainan Free Trade Port. It is located at 19°31′~20°04′ north latitude and 110° east longitude. Between 07’~110°42’, it is located in the northern part of Hainan Island, adjacent to Wenchang to the east, Chengmai to the west, Ding’an to the south, and Qiongzhou Strait to the north. It is the political, economic, technological, and cultural center of Hainan Province and the largest transportation hub . Haikou is located in the tropics, with diversified tropical resources. It is a southern coastal city rich in natural and beautiful coastal scenery. Since the opening of the port in the Northern Song Dynasty, it has a history of thousands of years.
