A new flag design for a new Russia? The white-blue-white flag (бело-сине-белый флаг) popped up shortly after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. And, it quickly gained popularity among those opposed to Vladimir Putin and the current Russian government, featuring in anti-war protests the world over.
