LIVE: Putin speaks at CIS Heads of State Council meeting in Minsk

Russian President Vladimir Putin virtually attends the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of the Heads of State meeting in Minsk on Friday, October 15. Leaders are expected to discuss the results of multilateral cooperation in the union and prospects of future cooperation among current global and regional issues. The summit will be held to mark the 30th anniversary of the CIS, established on December 8, 1991.
