It is even hard to believe this is all build upon the original Metroid (US version cartridge) engine, with the finished product looking more like a late middle 90’s NES game or even an early 16 bit Super Famicom title. You will see that this incredible fan hack will replace everything from the original games, including all new music and even adds some impressive visual effects (like rain!) that weren’t even in the original game. A fantastic mod by Grimlock, Optomon and snarfblam that delivers a full, proper prequel to “Zero Mission“.
